Dozens of MSU families visited Duane G. Meyer Library last Saturday morning to partake in the Family Weekend activities. As always, the carillon tours were popular, as were the AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) headsets-on demos. The button machine was getting a lot of use, too, by children of all ages. Back Issues of OzarksWatch Magazine Have Been Digitized

All of the back issues of OzarksWatch Magazine, from 1987 on, are now available online, thanks to the hard work of the staff of the Digitization Lab of the MSU Libraries. Shannon Mawhiney, Coordinator of the Digitization Lab, reports that a little bit of scanning needs to be completed, and some more metadata added, but the massive project is virtually complete.  Jeffrey Lawson did the arduous scanning.  Abbey Waterworth created the PDFs from the scans.  They both did a great job.

On Friday, September 21, 2018, President Trump is scheduled to attend a political rally to be held in JQH Arena on the Springfield campus of Missouri State University. Meyer Library has purchased a manual wheelchair for short-term use within the building. The chair is available for anyone with an immediate need for mobility assistance.
