For several years now the Duane G. Meyer Library on the Springfield campus of Missouri State University has won the “Best Campus Study Spot” Award. The award is based on voting by students in an online poll conducted by The Standard, MSU’s student-run newspaper. Greenwood students are enjoying new patron furniture at Haseltine Library.

An article by student reporter Brenna Lumbley in this week’s Standard, the student-run newspaper at Missouri State University, highlights the current “Over There” exhibit about Missouri involvement in the First World War.  The exhibit was a great collaboration, not only with the Missouri Humanities Council and the Springfield-Greene County Library District, but also within the MSU Libraries. A set of books gathered, cataloged, and prepared by the MSU Libraries is in the process of being moved to the new Fairbanks Community Center, one facet of the 5-year Northwest Project begun in 2016, through which Missouri State University has partnered with the Drew Lewis Foundation and Drury University to strengthen and support the surrounding neighborhood.
