Soon the Missouri State University Libraries will be using Archive-It, described as the “leading web archiving service for collecting and accessing cultural heritage on the web. Mark Twain Award Party at Haseltine Library

Haseltine Library celebrated student reading by hosting a socially distanced party for Greenwood Laboratory School fourth and fifth grade students on May 4th. Librarian Dea Borneman provided cupcakes and ice cream to students that read four or more of the books nominated for the Mark Twain Award. Students across the state voted to select this year’s winning title,  Blended by Sharon M. Draper.

This week a group from the Campus Construction Team (CCT) at Missouri State University, part of the excellent Facilities Maintenance group, began removing the wall between Room 206 and 209 on the Second Level in Duane G. For several years the Missouri State University Libraries has offered an internal grant competition to its current full-time employees to fund innovative ideas, projects, content, and services. Recently Lindsey Taggart submitted an innovation grant to subscribe to Unsub. The Dean and Associate Dean reviewed the application and funded it in the amount of $2,500.
