Special Collections and Archives, a part of the Missouri State University Libraries, is proud to make available online the Jim House Collection as part of the Ozarks Lesbian and Gay Archives.
DDA Plan Update!
It’s been two months since we launched the demand-driven-acquisition (DDA) model. It has been running smoothly and seamlessly since day one. We have 1,139 book titles added to the plan; with 9 of these titles already acquired. The titles purchased are current and relevant to the university’s programs and research interests that advances the university’s mission. New Information Desk in Meyer Library
Last week a new centralized information desk was installed in Duane G. Meyer Library on the main Springfield campus of Missouri State University. It is located on the First (Main) Level at the top of the interior ramp. The Art Full Text electronic resource from EBSCO artfully includes 388 active indexed and abstracted journals. 265 of them are peer-reviewed. It also includes 14,000 indexed art dissertations and 229,000 indexed art reproductions. OSI Author Talk Series Continues
The fall 2021 series of author talks and book signings, organized and sponsored by the Ozarks Studies Institute, is off to a good start. MSU Testing Center Approved as TOEFL Site
The Missouri State University Testing Center, administered by the MSU Libraries and located in the Lower Level of Duane G. Meyer Library, has become an approved testing site for TOEFL, the Test of English as a Foreign Language. TOEFL tests are accepted by more than 11,000 universities and other institutions in over 150 countries. MSU Testing Center’s first TOEFL exams will be given in December 2021.
