Starting in 2017, the MSU Libraries collaborated with The Fairbanks, a focal point of The Northwest Project, to build a community-centered, neighborhood library for residents of the Grant Beach Neighborhood and the surrounding area. Library team members assisted with on-site renovation work, including cleaning and painting, as well as collecting and preparing books for the opening of the library. The Missouri Hub (MoHub) of the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA), to which the MSU Libraries contributes its Digital Collections records, has recently added several more items to the DPLA catalog.  Among these are newer collections from MSU, such as the Bryan T. E. The main libraries on the Springfield campuses of Drury University and Missouri State University recently signed a document articulating a reciprocal borrowing agreement. Current students, faculty, and staff members in good standing at Drury and MSU now may check out books from Drury’s F. W. Olin Library and MSU’s Duane G. In December the FOLIO Open Source Community issued its latest named release as the platform continues to add features and functionality to this important new library services platform (LSP). The Honeysuckle Release includes platform updates and integration improvements in addition to user experience (UX) improvements and accessibility features.
