Outdoor Seating Added

In September some outdoor seating was added near the main entrance to Duane G. Meyer Library on the Springfield campus of Missouri State University. It was immediately popular with library users who wanted to enjoy the the late summer/early fall weather while working in the shade with good wi-fi.  Funding for the furniture was provided through a Summer Innovation Grant, with Jessica Bennett as the principal investigator. Bennett and Travis Selected for Provost Academic Leadership Program

Two employees of the Missouri State University Libraries have been selected for special leadership training. Jessica Bennett, Assistant Professor, and Brooks Travis, Information Technology Coordinator, have been selected to participate in the newest cohort of the Provost Academic Leadership Program (PAL). Over the course of the two-year program, they will engage in specialized training and development and will collaborate with PAL alumni on an interactive project.
