New Exhibit in Craig Hall

Special Collections and Archives, a part of the Missouri State University Libraries, is pleased to unveil our new exhibit in the lobby of Craig Hall at the entrance to Coger Theatre. The exhibit case is dedicated to the theatre’s namesake, Dr. Leslie Irene Coger (1912-1999), who taught in the Theatre and Dance Department for 38 years and was one of the founders of Tent Theatre. The most recent book publication from the Ozarks Studies Institute, an initiative of the Missouri State University Libraries, is now being printed and will be available for sale soon, both online and in-person in the Library Administrative Offices in Duane G. Meyer Library.  The book, “We Gave Them Thunder,”  is about Marmaduke’s raid and the Civil War in Missouri and Arkansas. EBSCO Launches Panorama

Yesterday EBSCO Information Services announced the launch of a new service to libraries called Panorama, “a modern library analytics platform combining different library and campus data sets to enable insights from a streamlined platform. On a Clear Day You Can See Forever

Duane G. Meyer is a beautiful, functional building with a great location near the fountain on the main Springfield campus of Missouri State University. It has a rich array of large windows, some of which are recessed by overhangs, meaning that over time they can become dirty.  The MSU Libraries is working with a local window washing firm — Clearview — to have all the exterior-facing windows washed soon, both inside and out.

Special Collections and Archives, part of the Missouri State University Libraries, is excited to share a new exhibit on the third floor of Plaster Student Union! This exhibit was created and installed by Haley Frizzle-Green, a practicum student from the University of Missouri who will be graduating with a Master of Library and Information Science degree in May.
