Professional Development Opportunity for Library Personnel

ADIL logoThe Missouri State University Libraries is offering a professional development opportunity for up to 16 current library personnel to virtually attend the 2022 Access Services Conference.

The annual conference is an opportunity for attendees to present and learn about issues related to circulation, reserves, interlibrary loan, student worker management, security, stacks maintenance and more. The conference will be held November 15 -17, 2022 in Atlanta, but the MSU contingent will attend virtually.

The conference is being organized by Access Services in Libraries, Inc. (ASiL), a 501c3 not for profit organization with the purpose of providing educational opportunities for individuals in the access services area of librarianship through organized conferences and other training services.  The sole purpose of these activities is to provide professional development for individuals in the Access Services field.

This opportunity is available to current employees of the MSU Libraries. If you’d like to attend, please contact Melissa Eiken (meiken@missouristate.edu) by Friday, October 21.
