Next Thursday several members of the First FOLIO Project Steering Committee will travel to West Plains to meet with staff members of Garnett Library on the campus of Missouri State University – West Plains about the upcoming implementation.
On Tuesday the first meeting of the EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) Implementation Advisory Working Group was held. A test version is up and running and all of the configurable parameters are being reviewed. Soon we will have a link available for broader review and input.
Work is underway on a reciprocal borrowing agreement with Crowder College.
A simplified conceptual diagram about this entire new cluster of systems and interfaces is being created and will be shared with all employees of the MSU Libraries soon.
Additional open forums are being planned for early next year. Dates, times, and locations will be announced soon. They will be open to anyone with an interest in this project.
