Nexis Uni (formerly Lexis Nexis), with its new intuitive interface designed with university student input, features more than 15,000 news, business and legal sources, including U.S. Supreme Court decisions dating back to 1790. This interdisciplinary, full-text database includes over 350 newspapers, 300 magazines and journals, 600 newsletters, wire services, transcripts of broadcasts, and nearly 300 college/university papers. Business sources include business and financial news, U.S. and international company financial information from government or private sources, market research, industry reports, and actual SEC filings. The legal section includes primary source materials such as case law, statutes, and regulations. The new interface easily allows the user to choose between news, company information, or legal information and also allows for easy limitations of date ranges. This database is heavily used by our COM 115 students to find the most current news information on various topics.
