Donation Box in Library Supports Ozarks Food Harvest

Meyer Library collected $720.89 in cash gifts from MSU students, faculty, staff, and other users of the library in support of the good work of Ozarks Food Harvest. The money is being used to provide 2,884 meals to needy individuals and families.

Overall, in 2019 Ozarks Food Harvest provided 18.5 million meals that supported 261,000 individuals. Ozarks Food Harvest is the Feeding America food bank for southwest Missouri, serving 270 hunger-relief organizations across 28 Ozarks counties. Founded in 1983, Ozarks Food Harvest has a stated mission of Transforming Hunger into Hope.
