Overview of MSU’s Employee Assistance Program

    • Three broad types of services:
      • Mental Health Services for the entire family of employees
      • Fiscal Counseling: debt management, budgeting, etc. 
      • Legal Services
    • All of these services are completely confidential. 
    • All full-time and part-time employees may use the service, including grad assistants, non-student part-time employees, and others.
    • The family members of the employee, including significant others, are eligible for services. These people can live in other places and states and still receive services. 
    • Six visits per person per calendar year are available.
    • Stress reduction and simplifying your life
    • Will preparation assistance is available online. City Utilities uses this, too. Takes 45 minutes to complete online. Can be updated as needed online, too.
