Victoria (3rd grade) and Olivia (1st grade), students at the Greenwood Laboratory School on the main Springfield campus of Missouri State University, were winning authors within their grade levels for the 2022 OPT/PBS Kids Writers Contest. On Thursday, July 21, 2022 archivists from the MSU Libraries were at Timmons Hall for the History Keepers’ luncheon. This event and others bring together members of the African American community to remember, discover, and share local history. Last week’s program focused on the Literary Calm Chat Club.
