Presentation Title: Reconnecting & Restoring Wellness in Self

Description: Compassion fatigue is well documented in the library profession. And recent years have only ramped up the number of roles we as librarians try to fill. The saying, “you can’t pour from an empty cup” may be overused but is also very true. This interactive breakout session focuses on reconnecting with oneself to avoid exhaustion and burnout. We will cover tips and techniques to restore physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Simple things that an individual can easily incorporate into every day. We will also discuss the benefits of health and wellness programming for libraries.

Congratulations, Jessica and Tracy!
