Rare Wine/Rare Books Redux
The annual Rare Wine, Rare Books event lives! Mark your calendars. We have a date (Friday, July 16th) and a location (the stacks of Duane G. Meyer Library, but of course). The rest of the details are being worked out.
This unique event is a fundraiser for the Fraley Family Rare Books Endowment, which enables the Special Collections & Archives area of the MSU Libraries to acquire more old, rare, important books for students, faculty, and researchers to study and enjoy. Because of COVID-19, in 2020 RWRB was an online Zoom event, but next month we’ll be back in our usual location in Duane G. Meyer Library on the main Springfield campus of Missouri State University.
The planners of this reborn RWRB evening have been calling this special event “Rare Wine, Rare Books Redux,” because we’re re-starting this popular, unique event for friends and supporters of the MSU Libraries. Good food, good conversation, good wine, and good books will be enjoyed by all. Stay tuned for more information. Special thanks to all the supporters of Rare Wine/Rare Books, past, present, and future.
