The Missouri State University Libraries is pleased to announce and welcome Mohammad AlHamad as our new E-Resource Strategist. Most recently, Mo has served as the Librarian and LRC Coordinator at Abu Dhabi Polytechnic University. Prior to that, he was the Electronic Resources Librarian at the United Arab Emirates University. He has a MA in Information and Library Studies from Aberystwyth University and a BS in Computer Information Technology from Arab American University. 

 

As E-Resource Strategist, Mo will lead the Libraries’ efforts to ensure that students, teachers, and researchers have convenient access to a range of electronic resources and content. His work will also include guiding the development of sustainable departmental policies and procedures.

 

His expected start date is Tuesday, June 1, with a work space located in Room 007 of the Lower Level of Duane G. Meyer Library.
