MSU Libraries is pleased to announce that Rachel Besara, Associate Dean of Libraries at Missouri State University, was elected to serve on the inaugural FOLIO Community Council.  The FOLIO Community Council is an international body of 15 members charged with serving two roles.  Firstly, to ensure the community is strong and healthy, and secondly, to facilitate the smooth operation of community activities, including coordinating with other councils and managing the project’s financial responsibilities.  Other members include representatives from Stanford, Texas A&M, the Shanghai Library, Duke, and Cornell.  Rachel’s election to this body will help ensure that the FOLIO community remains positioned for continued success even as it moves into a new phase and grows exponentially.
