eJournal of Public Affairs comes into the Library
Beginning on July 1, 2020, the organizational home of the eJournal of Public Affairs, now in its ninth year of publication, has moved to the MSU Libraries cost center, after having been for eight years in the Office of the Provost.
The eJournal of Public Affairs is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, open-access journal published by Missouri State University and affiliated with the American Democracy Project. By providing an academic, nationally refereed venue for such work, the eJournal aims to advance the status of public scholarship.
Andy Lokie, Director of Special Projects and Editor of the eJournal of Public Affairs, always has been a member of the Library Science Faculty. Now he’s back in Duane G. Meyer Library, in room 208. Andy is a tenured Associate Professor at MSU.
The next issue of the eJournal of Public Affairs — Volume 9, Number 2 — should be available next Monday. It will be a theme issue, tied to the current election, about the erosion and renewal of democracy. How do universities, schools, and other educational institutions address what it means to be active citizens on national, state,
and local levels?
