Six Summer Innovation Grants Are Funded

Six innovation grants have been funded for this summer by the MSU Libraries:

  1. Emu Round Seating from SteelcaseContinued work on converting Library of Congress subject headings to genre terms, to facilitate and enhance genre searches for children’s and young adult literature. Raegan Wiechert, principal investigator
  2. A summer intern will be hired to assist with the SGF Augmented Reality project, a collaborative effort of several cultural memory institutions in Springfield. Tracie Gieselman-Holthaus, principal investigator
  3. Outdoor furniture for the south (main) side of Duane G. Meyer Library. Jessica Bennett, principal investigator
  4. Electronic locks for the MSU Testing Center. Sue McCrory, principal investigator
  5. Rolling ladders and a lift table for the Special Collections storage area, Shannon Mawhiney, principal investigator
  6. Christian County aerial photographs from the years 1961, 1975-76, 1979, 1990, and 1996 (63 photos total) and Stone County aerial photographs from the years 1936, 1955, 1979, 1990, and 1996 (187 photos total), Jim Coombs, principal investigator
