Bob Price, the Assistant Dean of Technology and Digital Strategies at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, will be in Springfield next week to serve as external reviewer of the Library Information Technologies (LIT) program of the Missouri State University Libraries. The LIT Program is in the second year of the two-year program review cycle. The LIT self-study was completed last academic year. During his visit Mr. Price will meet with a wide variety of individuals and groups, including the LIT staff and the Provost, with an open meeting planned for Thursday, April 19th from 2:30 to 3:30 in Room 107 on the First Level of Duane G. Meyer Library. Mr. Price will then write and submit a report with recommendations. The self-study and the external reviewer’s report will serve as foundations for creating an action plan for the program.
