RECAP: Library Mixer

RECAP: Library Mixer

On Tuesday, June 10, the Duane G. Meyer Library hosted a mixer in the living room on the first floor of the building. The event was held so that faculty and staff could get to know each other.

“We had had several new people and/or departments move into the library towards the end of the semester so I just thought it would be a good opportunity for all of us to make connections and get to know the people in our building,” said Holly Kouns, coordinator of public services and event host. “All of us, in some capacity or other, serve the campus and students so it just seems like a good idea to know each other more and to know more about the different departments and services that we offer.”

Attendees came from 11-12 pm to enjoy a snack bar that included Rice Krispies, fruit, cookies, chips, gummy bears, and Boomer Mix, as well as customizable sodas with flavored syrups, cream and four or five recipes to choose from.
