The Office of the Provost at Missouri State University recently approved requests by the University Libraries to undertake three new searches to fill vacant positions:

1. Coordinator of Library Information Technology (LIT). This is a staff position most recently held by Brooks Travis, who resigned in December 2021 to take a position at EBSCO, a vendor of library content, systems, and services.
2. Digital Archivist and Head of the Digitization Lab. This is a staff position currently held by Shannon Mawhiney, who will be leaving in January 2023 to take a new position at the Springfield Public Schools. 
3. Business Manager and Budget Officer. This is a revised and expanded staff position, based on the Accounting Specialist position held by Vicki Evans, who retired in December 2021. 

Early in January the search committees for these three searches will be formed, position descriptions finalized, and the searches launched.
