Lynn Cline to be Added to MSU Wall of Fame

Lynn Cline
Professor Emeritus, Lynn Cline

In his almost 42 years on campus, Lynn Cline quietly, professionally, and effectively provided service to the the Missouri State University Libraries and the campus as a whole. For most of those years he was Head of Collection Development and Acquisitions. There he used his professional knowledge and expertise in various subjects to build a strong research collection, useful to faculty and students in all majors.

As an educator, Lynn taught courses in library science to students working on their MSU minor in library science, as well as University of Missouri students completing their master’s in library science. He also interacted with student assistants, in many cases being their sounding board as they considered careers in the library field.

The MSU Board of Trustees acknowledges Lynn Cline’s value to the university by including him on the MSU Wall of Fame. The induction ceremony for the Class of 2022 will be on Friday, October 28, at 4:00 p.m. in the Plaster Student Union Ballroom.
