Librarians Tracy Stout and Jessica Bennett were recently awarded a peer-reviewed Assessment Grant from the Missouri State University Office of Assessment and the Office of the Provost.

Assessment Grants focus on faculty assessment of student learning. Jessica and Tracy seek to assess student learning in library information literacy sessions, from the student perspective.

They will form focus groups to determine what works well in both the virtual and face to face classroom for student assessment of learning. The grant funds will be used to provide each focus group participant with a $25 MSU Bookstore gift card. All information gained will be used to improve and enhance the MSU Libraries information literacy program.
