Dean and Executive Assistant Return to 302

new work area in the Ozarks RoomTom Peters, Dean of Library Services, and Melissa Eiken, Executive Assistant II, soon will return to Room 302 (the new Ozarks Room) on the Third Level of Duane G. Meyer Library on the main Springfield campus of Missouri State University. This was their primary work location until several years ago, when the library administration suite moved down to Room 210.

New office in the Ozarks RoomThe principal reason for this move is a large initiative in which the MSU Libraries soon will be involved. This initiative will be formally announced this summer. In general, because the MSU Libraries has been hosting and operating the Ozarks Studies Institute for several years now, and because the Ozarks Room will have a grand opening this fall (pandemic permitting), it makes sense for the Dean’s suite to be back in Room 302, now the Ozarks Room, where he can meet with colleagues, friends and supporters of MSU and the great Ozarks Region.
