Renovation of Library 101, the large Auditorium off of the main lobby of Duane G. Meyer Library on the Springfield campus of Missouri State University, began on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The renovation work should be completed well before the official completion deadline of December 22, 2019.

All of the chairs will be replaced, along with most of the table surfaces. Electricity will be made available to all users of the room, and one center aisle will replace the two outer aisles. New carpeting will be installed. The entryway lighting will be improved, too. This renovation project has been funded in substantial part by a generous grant from the Sunderland Foundation.
