Special Collections and Archives featured on The Humanities District podcast
Have you heard about the podcast hosted by Jay Howard, senior instructor at Missouri State University?
Since January 2021, Jay has been talking to people at universities and colleges about their creative work and how their work contributes to the community. Over time the title of the podcast has changed and is now known as The Humanities District.
Jay worked at the Missouri State University Libraries as a student employee during his undergraduate years, so he is no stranger to Meyer Library. However, he had not visited Special Collections and Archives! After a tour of the area, we were thrilled when Jay asked if we could talk about the collections and some of the projects connected to campus and our surrounding communities.
You can listen to a conversation with archivist Tracie Gieselman France at: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/humanitiesdistrict and check out other episodes too. Special Collections and Archives will also archive the podcast episodes.
