Finals Week: Pet Therapy and extended hours

Pet Therapy is Back!

Meyer Library is welcoming Pet Therapy of the Ozarks  this Thursday, May 11, from 10:30am to 12pm in the Living

Pet Therapy of the Ozarks is bringing dogs to help you de-stress around finals time. They will be on the first floor of the Duane G. Meyer Library.

Pet Therapy of the Ozarks, Inc. is a not-for profit Missouri Corporation organized to provide emotional therapy visits to nursing homes, hospitals, schools and other facilities. They are based in Springfield, Missouri and serve institutions within a 50 mile radius. As a strictly volunteer group, this pet therapy association is funded through membership dues and donor support.  They certify Pet Therapy dogs with prior Canine Good Citizenship certificates twice a year. 

Everyone is welcome to stop by for all the puppy kisses and snuggles you can handle as we gear up for finals week.

Finals Week Extended Hours

Spring 2023 final exams begin this Saturday, May 13 with Meyer Library extending its hours to support success throughout the week.

Finals Week Extended Hours:

  • Friday, May 12: 8am-10pm
  • Saturday, May 13: 9am-6pm
  • Sunday, May 14:  11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Monday, May 15:  7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Tuesday, May 16:  7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Wednesday, May 17:  7 a.m. to midnight
  • Thursday, May 18:  7 a.m. to midnight
  • Friday, May 19: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Private or group study rooms can be booked in advance online. The Meyer Library Lobby remains available 24/7 with BearPass access.
