The 2023-24 Institute on Open Educational Resources will kickoff this June.

Missouri State University has been selected to participate in AAC&U’s 2023-2024 Institute on Open Education Resources (OER). This Institute on OER provides a year-long, engagement opportunity for teams to actualize an ambitious strategy to broaden campus engagement with adoption of OER.

The Institute will officially begin with a kickoff event on July 24th and 25th, 2023 and conclude with a capstone closing event on June 10th-11th, 2024. Between those dates will be another day-long event in December and monthly meetings as team members work on OER projects for their campus.

As the ‘OER Specialist’ on campus, Professor Tracy Stout is serving as the MSU Team Lead during the Institute. Tracy has collaborated with FCTL and others to help expand OER use in MSU courses. Tracy has also chaired the Missouri A&OER Conference Planning Committee for the past two years to help promote and encourage the use of OER statewide. Congratulations to the MSU Team!
