Meyer Library Room 206 Classroom
The newly renovated Room 206 teaching space on the Second Level of Duane G. Meyer Library on the main Springfield Campus of Missouri State University is now ready for use.
Room 206 has become one of the state-of-the-art high-tech classrooms on campus, replete with a wide variety of teaching and learning technologies and connectivity. It joins the ranks of several Zoom-enabled classrooms and meeting spaces in Duane G. Meyer Library.
All the furniture has arrived and will be deployed soon.
This renovation project, which began several years ago, was slowed by the pandemic and the resulting supply chain challenges to obtain computers and other needed equipment. The renovations were made possible through generous financial and administrative support from the Office of the Provost.
The principal users of the new teaching space will be the Research and Instructional Services program of the MSU Libraries, as well as MSU’s Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning (FCTL).
The multi-year project to renovate all of the public spaces in Duane G. Meyer Library will continue in other areas of the building.
