Government Shutdown Could Derail Research Deadlines
If you are currently conducting research using federal government websites, please work ahead and collect all that you can before midnight on September 30.
The 2013 government shutdown caused many agency sites to go offline for several weeks, and the 2019 shutdown repeated some of that experience. It may be that we will see the same thing in the coming days.
Faculty and students with deadlines for publications, presentations, papers, and other projects may be significantly inconvenienced. Avoid that predicament by preparing in advance.
