Updates on Library Content and Services
During the current COVID-19 pandemic, access to digital content and online services from the Missouri State University Libraries has been expanded and improved. The best way to find these online resources is via our handy dandy Library Guide to online services and collections.
Beginning today, limited in-person services in Duane G. Meyer Library will resume. We will continue to roll out more services and access to various areas of the building in the coming months, with the goal to be fully into the new normal in August in time for the start of the fall semester.
- Access to the lobby is now available from thirty minutes before the first in-building service opens until thirty minutes after the last in-building service closes for the day. Currently, most days, the Open Access Computer Lab has the longest hours. You will need your Bearpass card to enter the building, and to enter the Computer Lab. We strongly encourage everyone to wear a face mask and to practice social distancing.
- Print materials, such as books, are available for pick up in the lobby from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday of this week, and Monday through Thursday of Finals Week. To request specific books and other items, please complete the Item Request Form. We will retrieve the items and have them ready for you when you arrive. You will need to have your Bearpass card to enter the building and to check out materials.
- The MSU Testing Center will be open Monday through Thursday of Finals Week from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Again, you will need your Bearpass to enter the building.
- At this time we do not know when we will be able to obtain books and other printed information from other libraries and sources. Please let us know your information needs by filling out an InterLibrary Loan online request form, and we will try to obtain the information you need.
