KSU Librarians to Visit/View Our Space and Furnishing Reconfigurations

Water damage at Hale LibraryOn Tuesday afternoon, November 20th, a contingent of librarians from the Kansas State University Libraries, led by Dean of Libraries Lori Goetsch, will visit Duane G. Meyer Library at Missouri State University to see and learn about our space renovation and revitalization project, which includes an extensive deployment of furnishings manufactured by Steelcase.

On May 22, 2018, KSU’s Hale Library received extensive damage during a fire. While the fire itself was confined to the roof of the building, smoke, soot, and water caused extensive damage throughout the entire building. By the end of September, over 1.5 million books and other information materials had been removed from Hale Library to temporary storage facilities. Restoration and renovation work continues.
