This fall Tom Peters, Dean of Library Services at Missouri State University, has had several publications and media appearances come to fruition: The Ozark Jubilee Encyclopedia, compiled by Dean Peters, will be published next week by Pie Supper Press. The encyclopedia grew out of an ongoing effort by the MSU Libraries to collect, organize, and preserve recordings and supporting documentation about the Ozark Jubilee, a popular weekly nationally-broadcast live television show that originated from Springfield, Missouri, from 1955 to 1960. …

Professor Joshua Lambert of the Duane G. Meyer Library recently attended the 2024 Midwest Data Librarian Symposium (MDLS) in Lawrence, KS. The 2024 MDLS Conference presentations included innovative research related to data repository use and better ways to engage minorities so that they will contribute to institutional repositories.
