Pumpkin Decorating Contest at Meyer Library

This week, Meyer Library is hosting Carve & Cackle, a pumpkin decorating contest between the faculty and staff members in various departments. All of the pumpkins were decorated based upon a book in the Meyer Library collection. Students, faculty, and staff who enter the library are invited to vote on their favorite pumpkin displayed in the lobby. Please join us for a reception for “Understanding Art and Artifact: Research and Conservation” on Thursday, October 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This educational exhibition is the culmination of the best student research from the 2024-2025 Citizenship and Service-Learning (CASL) integrated courses ART/MST 488: Basic Conservation of Art and Artifacts and ART 386: Art of Africa, taught by Dr. Billie Follensbee.
