RECAP: Finals Week events at Meyer Library
Meyer Library hosted two programs during finals week to aid students in their academic pursuits. Boris, the Maine Coon therapy cat, visited the library on May 5 and 6 from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Also on May 6, a fuel cart was rolled around the library offering treats to students between the hours of noon and 2 p.m.
Marketing and communications student worker Perla Oxlag organized the fuel cart and pushed it from the Lower Level to the third floor. According to Gabi Martin, another student worker in the marketing and communications department, the fuel cart served as a morale booster.
“She had a variety of snacks ranging from cookies to protein bars, fruit snacks, chips, and Capri Suns,” said marketing student worker Gabi Martin. “She walked around all floors of the library to students that were studying and asked if they wanted something.”
