Meyer Library named Best Place to Study

Missouri State University’s student-run newspaper, The Standard, has named the Duane G. Meyer Library as Best Place to Study on campus. After students voted, the winner was announced in the spring semester.

“The reason that we’re so regularly listed as best place to study or best on-campus service is because of the people who work here and because of the spaces that have been cultivated by our faculty and staff,” said Holly Kouns, coordinator of public services. “People wouldn’t come to the library if they didn’t feel like this was an open and inviting space where they could be academically successful. All of the resources, services and spaces are because of the care that is added by the people who work in the library.”
