Ella Myers, a freshman music education major, began work as an office assistant in the Ozarks Room on January 27, 2025. She is assisting Vanessa Lockhart on several projects, and her duties include scanning papers into the computer system, labeling, and doing organizational work.

According to Lockhart, Myers was selected to be one of two office assistants because of a combination of personal characteristics and previous experience. Myers was confident, friendly, outgoing, expressive. She also had worked in an office setting before and developed the necessary skills. 

“I was looking at the on-campus jobs available and this one looked interesting so I applied,” Myers said.
