“We have a lot of changing needs within the library, especially related to signage. We have new partners coming in, we have relocation of services, we have updated and new services,” said Holly Kouns, coordinator of public services and head of MarComm. “The best way that we can advertise that is having good signage in the building as well as marketing it through social media and the channels that we have.”

Curl’s projects will include helping with Rare Wine Rare Books, updating wayfinding in the building, advertising resources and services, updating digital signage, working on the annual report, identifying and creating pathways for graphic design and promotional requests, and more. She will be working in-office 3 days a week from roughly 8 am to 3 pm.

“Honestly, I just love libraries,” Curl said. “I love being around books and this position seemed like a way to take something I have experience in and apply it to something I love.”
