Meyer Library gets a phone booth
If you’ve ever wanted some privacy in order to place a call in the Duane G. Meyer Library, now you have a space for that. This week, a new phone booth was installed in the north wing of level 3.

“It was purchased to provide a space for persons to take a phone call on level three, have a Zoom or Teams meeting, or to just have an even more quiet space to study,” said Nathan Neuschwander, a Technology Strategist in the Duane G. Meyer Library and the interim-head of the LIT department.

The booth comes from a store called Room, which specifically makes soundproof office furniture to improve the workforce.
Inside the booth, there is a stool, a small desk, a light, and a board with magnets. Any patron is welcome to use it.
And we do mean any.
