Aerial view of the Epic campus in WisconsinAs of this week, the Missouri State University Testing Center, located on the Lower Level of Duane G. Meyer Library in the heart of the main Springfield campus, has added certification exams through Epic. 
 
Epic develops software to help people get well, help people stay well, and help future generations be healthier. It provides software for electronic health records and is used by both the Mercy and Cox healthcare systems. Their headquarters is located in fair Verona, Wisconsin, about eleven miles west of Madison, the capital of Wisconsin.
 
More than 325 million patients have a current electronic record in Epic. Employee-owned and developer‑led,  been named the #1 Overall Software Suite in KLAS for thirteen years running. If you’ve used electronic healthcare records yourself, such as MyChart, you have used Epic software. 
 
By offering Epic, the MSU Testing Center provides additional certification opportunities for Cox and Mercy employees through this addition to our portfolio of external exams.
