MSU Testing Center Busy During Finals Week

Photo of the MSU Testing CenterThe Missouri State University Testing Center, located on the Lower Level of Duane G. Meyer Library and administered by the MSU Libraries, was very busy during Final Exam Week earlier this month.

For the Spring 2024 Final Exam Week, the Testing Center administered 791 exams, including:
  • 119 accommodated exams for DRC clients
  • 87 remote exams, primarily through Zoom
  • 450 computer-based exams
  • 54 paper-based exams
  • 25 comprehensive program exams
  • 27 placement/entrance exams
This is a slight increase over the SP23 finals week (745 total) and a slight increase from the FA23 finals week (882 total). There was an increase in remote exams for SP24 finals, up from 66 for FA23 and 79 in SP23. 
 
The MSU Testing Center has administered over 28,000 exams since July 1, 2023, including 1,135 accommodated exams and 418 exams by Zoom. Over 3,000 HISET (High School Equivalency Tests) have been administered, along with over 2,500 professional licensing and certification exams.
