As of next week, OzarksWatch Magazine, a publication of the Ozarks Studies Institute, will be indexed in UlrichsWeb. UlrichsWeb is an easily searchable database affiliated with ProQuest that provides detailed information on more than 300,000 periodicals of all sorts. This weekend, UlrichsWeb will do its weekly cache refresh, after which OzarksWatch will become discoverable by many more library users worldwide.
The Missouri A&OER Conference (Affordable & Open Education Resources) was another success! The 5th annual conference was organized by the Missouri A&OER Conference Planning Committee, chaired by MSU faculty librarian, Tracy Stout. David Harrison, Missouri’s Poet Laureate and well known children’s author, will be presenting at MSU’s Kentwood Hall Chrystal Room on Thursday April 11th beginning at 7:00 PM. The Testing Center has recently agreed with the Missouri State University Cooperative Engineering program in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, which is taught in conjunction with Missouri S&T, to administer exams for MSU students in the Cooperative Engineering program who are taking courses through Missouri S&T.
