New Furniture on Third Level West of Meyer Library
New furniture was installed this week on the west side of the Third Level of Duane G. Meyer Library on the main Springfield campus of Missouri State University (MSU).
Major funding for this project came from the Student Government Association at MSU. SGA representatives provided input on the furniture needs and preferences for that space. The Libraries appreciates SGA’s advice and financial support.
This project is part of a larger multi-year initiative to completely renovate and improve the public spaces in Meyer Library. New carpeting, new furniture, new and improved information tools and technologies, and freshly painted walls are happening throughout the building. For example, plans already are well underway to improve the furniture in other areas of the Third Level during the summer months of 2024.
