Search for New Coordinator of Library Information Technologies
The search for a new Coordinator of Library Information Technologies (LIT) at the Missouri State University Libraries on the main Springfield campus has begun. The date of first consideration is Monday, February 13, 2023, and review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
The Coordinator of LIT leads and manages all of the information technology efforts of the MSU Libraries. They use advanced professional and technical expertise to provide leadership and guidance to the University Libraries concerning information technology issues. The Coordinator of LIT is responsible for the management, supervision, operations, planning, and security of the information technology resources of the University Libraries. The Coordinator of LIT also is a member of the core management team of the MSU Libraries.
This is a high-level, full-time, twelve-month, exempt staff position at pay grade level 35. The minimal acceptable qualifications are listed in the position description. All qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
Brooks Travis most recently held the position, and first Mohammad AlHamad and then Nathan Neuschwander have been filling in on an interim basis since Brooks left to take a position with EBSCO.
