Andrea Miller, Associate Professor of Library Science at the Missouri State University Libraries, has published a book chapter entitled “Managing Time in Personal Project Management” in the new book Project Management in Technical Services: Practical Tips and Case Studies.

A recent press release states that, “Project management, as both a skill set and a discipline, offers structure and a path forward for continual improvement and change management within libraries. Most importantly for technical services, project management creates processes that can fairly and transparently indicate how resources are allocated and guide technical services departments as they prioritize needs.”

This book is an edited volume focused on implementation perspectives on project management within technical services and case studies. The book is published by ALA Editions in collaboration with Core Publishing. A copy is on order for the MSU Libraries’ collection.
