It is a pleasure to announce that Holly Kouns has accepted an offer from the Missouri State University Libraries to serve as Coordinator of Public Services, a new position at the MSU Libraries. She will begin on Monday, February 3, 2020.  Her office will be located in Room 115A, near the new consolidated service desk on the First Level of Duane G. Meyer Library. 

Prior to coming to MSU, Ms. Kouns served as Department Head of User Success & Services at the University of Texas at Arlington. Before that, she was an Outreach Services Specialist at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Both her BA in History and MS in Library and Information Studies were earned at Florida State University. 

As the Coordinator of Public Services at MSU, Holly will provide vision and direction for all public services efforts of the MSU Libraries, including collaborative efforts with other university units and regional partners, through strategic planning, deliberate and reasoned deployment of resources, coordination of operations, and effective assessment of public services.
