Associate Dean of Libraries: Rachel Besara has a new start date: Friday, August 11, 2017.  She’ll be attending an all-day administrator training workshop on that date. A welcome reception for Rachel will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 18th in the Employee Lounge.

Head of Acquisitions and Content Management:  The on-campus interviews for the two finalists will be held during the fourth week of August. Andrea Miller, currently serving as Interim Head of Content Management and Acquisitions at MSU, will interview on Tuesday, August 22nd, and Constance Lee, currently serving as Branch Library Manager at Benedictine University in Springfield, Illinois, will interview on Friday, August 25th. Their interview schedules and CVs will be distributed soon via LibAll by Raegan Wiechert, chair of the search committee.

Head of Special Collections and Archives: Two finalists are being invited for on-campus interviews. Their names and their interview dates will be announced soon.

Administrative Specialist II in the Testing Center: As of Friday, July 28, Mitch Bess no longer will be employed by the MSU Libraries. We extend best wishes to Mitch in his future endeavors. Because this position is essential to the success of the MSU Testing Center, a search for a new Administrative Specialist II will be launched very soon. The search committee members include Sue McCrory (Chair), Kevin Wilson, and Tom Peters.
